A Grand Time

A GRAND AGE IS UPON US.

Beginning in 2025 an unusually harmonious alignment of planets indicates a uniting of scientific, technological, and psychological developments.  We enter a new world rich in information and sharing capacity through the internet and AI.  A better understanding of our world, life itself, and what it takes to maintain an ecological balance both within ourselves and the environment will unfold.  Much human suffering will be relieved in the process, unleashing an era of unprecedented personal freedom.

All three of the slowest moving planets (Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto) will form either a sextile or a trine aspect between 2025 and 2032.[1]  This is an exceedingly rare astronomical event as viewed from Earth.  The tran-saturnian planets are not visible to the naked eye; they were unknown to ancient astrologers but came into our consciousness with their discovery.  They therefore represent modern qualities, ideas, art forms, detections and inventions.  The merging of these three in harmonious alignment is a true delight.  All that has been created since electricity – like flight, automobiles and appliances, nuclear power, computer technology, cell phones, and robotics – is coming smoothly together.  Different parts of our world will fit well for a time.

One manifestation of this alignment is the effort by the Trump administration to reform and simplify government agencies and purposes.  The government has grown enormously large and wasteful with redundant programs, staff duplications, multiple offices and officers, and reams of regulations dictating every aspect of business and personal behavior.  The sheer scope of this over-reach is ripe for abuse.  DOGE is a noble attempt to make government function more efficiently.  Payment systems need to be centralized with proper accounting; computer systems upgraded; and unnecessary duplication of services eliminated.  All this requires some care and selectivity, not the speed and randomness of which it is happening.  But the idea of a more efficient and streamlined government that saves taxpayer money and pulls us from the brink of economic collapse due to our $36 trillion dollar national debt is honorable.  The last major attempt at government efficiency was under President Clinton and VP Al Gore.  Although somewhat successful, the Clinton/Gore reforms do not compare to what is happening today because the planetary alignments beginning in 2025 make the DOGE efforts more promising than ever before.

The astrological sextile and trine (angular separation or aspect) represent relative stability, cooperation and support.  Hard angle aspects (conjunction, square, and opposition) indicate friction.  Although there are a few hard angle aspects between 2025 and 2032, the preponderance of transits is harmonious.  This essentially means that human consciousness will find ways to use tran-saturnian knowledge and inventions in more beneficial and creative ways.

The thirteen Neptune/Pluto sextiles are a key to what is expanding and diversifying.  The sextile aspect represents developing capabilities that started during the previous conjunction in 1891-92.  In 1891, the Trans-Siberian Railway construction commenced, connecting Moscow to Vladivostok, transforming Russia’s economy and mobility.  In the US, 1892 saw the founding of the Carnegie Steel Company, pivotal to the Second Industrial Revolution that was underway.  Additionally, Ellis Island opened as an immigration station in New York Harbor, becoming a symbol of new beginnings for millions.  The conjunction represents a transformative period in infrastructure and industry.  In the early 1890s, there were also significant strides in both medicine and chemistry.  Sir Ronald Ross began his groundbreaking work on malaria, which eventually led to the discovery of the malaria parasite in mosquitoes.  This was pivotal in understanding the disease’s transmission.  While Wilhelm Röntgen officially discovered X-rays in 1895, the groundwork for radiology was being laid in the early 1890s with advancements in cathode ray research.  The chemical industry saw progress in the development of synthetic dyes, which revolutionized textiles and other industries.  And Dmitri Mendeleev’s periodic table was being refined, with new elements being discovered and classified during this period.  These advancements laid the foundation for modern medicine and chemistry.

What likely develops in the years ahead is a cohesive, workable balance between fossil fuels and renewable energy and nuclear power.  The vision will be laid for a makeover of our collapsing infrastructure.  Massive computer generation terminals run by small nuclear plants will power the ever widening field of AI.  Cures for such deadly ailments as heart disease, cancer, and Alzheimer’s will be made possible through artificial intelligence.  The practice of medicine will be aided by AI as will the pharmaceutical industry.  Computers chips will leap forward into the quantum realm allowing for incredible speeds and depth of information.  Robotics will continue to grow in industry and bring more comfort and convenience into our homes and lives.  Improved medical diagnostics and, hopefully, a better run medical system can develop.  The sextile promises diversity and the utilization of new resources applied in energy production, medicine, chemical application – including better labeling of foods and the end of harmful dyes, preservatives, and ultra-processed foods.  A visionary and safer way to explore, mine and resource elements on the sea floor and on the Moon and possibly Mars can also be made at this time.

Another significant coupling of planets is between Uranus and Neptune.  They are sixty-degrees apart five times between August 2025 and June 2027.  The last Uranus/Neptune conjunction was in 1993.  The sextiles therefore represent a diversification of similar manifestations that came into existence in 1993.  Political changes in 1993 involved the peaceful dissolution of Czechoslovakia into the Czech Republic and Slovakia on January 1.  Two important agreements were made: the signing of the START II treaty between the U.S. and Russia to reduce nuclear weapons, and the Oslo I Accord aimed at resolving the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.  Two major tragedies also took place during the conjunction: the World Trade Center bombing in New York City, and the MV Braer oil tanker disaster in the Shetland Islands.  On the science and technology front the World Wide Web became publicly accessible, revolutionizing communication and information sharing.

What we are likely to experience during the sextile period is a peace accord between Russia and Ukraine and a final end to the Hamas/Israeli War.  A tragedy on the scale of the van loaded with explosives that detonated in the parking garage beneath the North Tower, causing significant damage and tragically killing six people while injuring over a thousand, is possible but the sextile mitigates this risk to a degree.  On a more positive front, faster internet service and expanded information via AI, plus major advancements in the entertainment industry will add to our enjoyment of the Web.

Finally, Uranus and Pluto will be trine in 2026 and 2027.  The technological improvements, space exploration, and personal freedoms that this combination promises are truly illuminating.  The last Uranus/Pluto conjunction was in 1965-66. is nearing a state of balance and harmony.  Events that played out in the tumultuous mid 1960s involved civil rights; the Voting Rights Act was signed into law in the U.S., a landmark achievement in the fight against racial discrimination.  Protests and social unrest was rampant as civil rights marches, Vietnam War resistance, and the counter-culture movement clashed with the establishment.  The Vietnam War and the Second Indo-Pakistani War over Kashmir were raging.  It was an angry and volatile time marked by amazing feats like the Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov who became the first person to conduct a spacewalk.  The Soviet Union’s Luna 9 achieved the first controlled landing on the Moon, and NASA’s Gemini 8 completed the first space docking.  Human rights moved forward through civil rights reform and tolerance for unique cultural/personal prerogatives to the United Nations adopting two major human rights covenants, setting global standards.

The Uranus/Pluto trine will unite the world in new ways in space and science, while allowing for more personal freedom and choice of conduct than ever before.  The energy problem will be solved so abundant sources of power are available.  What unfolds during the following years of turmoil is a broader vision and design destined to flower in 2047-48.
