A Few Days in June

A FEW DAYS IN JUNE 2025

Within days of the Jupiter/Saturn and Jupiter/Neptune square all hell broke out in Iran.  Israel-Iran 12-day war ended on the 21st when the U.S. dropped “bunker-buster” bombs on the Iranian nuclear enrichment facilities.  The entire alliance makeup that defied Israel is now a shell of its former self.  The Gaza war will soon end.  But will Iran resume enrichment and continue to pursue a nuclear bomb or seek peace?

The 2025 forecast for the United States details the significant of the three planet alignment in June.  To this we might add the significant Supreme Court ruling that curtails federal judges from issuing broad injunctions of Presidential orders.  Presidents are now free to exercise their administrations without interference from select judgeships.  Birthright citizenship as presently practiced will be the next to go.  The 14th Amendment, ratified in 1868 during Reconstruction, was primarily designed to guarantee citizenship to formerly enslaved people and their children.  It was a direct response to the Supreme Court’s infamous Dred Scott v. Sandford decision of 1857, which had declared that African Americans could not be U.S. citizens, whether enslaved or free.  The Citizenship Clause of the 14th Amendment states: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States.” This language was crafted to ensure that the children of freed slaves—who had been denied legal recognition—would be full citizens.

A great deal of financial uncertainty remains in the wake of the worldwide tariffs imposed by President Trump (Jupiter/Neptune).  The economy is still humming along but trouble lurks ahead as interest on the national debt will rise higher as a result of The Big Beautiful Budget Bill.  Expect interest rates to rise before the end of the year while the value of the dollar declines, and prices increase.

The next important planetary alignment is a conjunction, signifying an important beginning.  Saturn will join Neptune February 20, 2026.  This will be detailed in the 2026 U.S. Forecast but here are a few clues to its meaning.  The last time Saturn and Neptune came together was in November 1989 when the Berlin Wall tumbled down (11/9) and communist regimes in Bulgaria, Romania, and Czechoslovakia were weakened.  The conjunction before this took place in July 1953 ending the Korean War (7/27/53).  The Soviet Union detonates the first hydrogen bomb in 1953.  And Fidel Castro fails to topple the Batista government in Cuba (7/26) but succeeds in launching the Cuban Revolution that was eventually successful in 1959 (Saturn square Neptune 2/63).

We can take from these previous associations that the Iranian government may face an internal revolution or my likely a weakening of political/military aggression.  The regime is unlikely to pursue an honest peace.  They must either renounce their fiat to destroy Israel and the United States or seek a nuclear weapon.  Either way, Iran is weakened and the entire Middle East balance of power has shifted.  A new alliance between Saudi Arabia and other Arab states with Israel is now possible.  This historic moment holds great promise for a sustained peace in the Middle East.  It is doubtful that the Russian-Ukraine war will end with this planetary configuration.  If the Trump administration ramps up armament supplies to the Ukrainians and places more restrictive sanctions on Russia, the war could end in about six months. President Trump is reluctant for secret reason to put the kind of pressure on Putin needed to conclude the war.  What measures he does take may not be enough to lessen the carnage.

China will bid its time and continue harassment of Taiwan while extending its financial and military bases throughout the eastern hemisphere.  If Trump appears weak in his response to Putin, China will tempt the security pact between the U.S., Philippines, Japan, Australia and the EU by encroaching in a provocative way the seaways and islands near the Philippines.
