The United States Compatibility with President Trump

THE COMPATIBILITY BETWEEN TRUMP AND THE UNITED STATES

Jupiter is close to the Sun in the United States Declaration of Independence horoscope.  Americans admire strong and successful leaders, rousing orators, those with a philosophical and educated vision.  In addition to this, the closest aspect to the Sun (the President) is Saturn.  The public wants a pragmatic leader to steer the country safely along, adhering to the principals laid down in the Constitution.

Donald Trump fits this bill fairly well, although he does not steer us slowly and steadily forward with the wisdom of caution and protocol.  Some presidents have done so while others, not endeared genetically or through the cosmic blueprint to experience the epitome of life, manage to steer the nation acceptably along, and a few fail at the task with only token good deeds.

The compatibility between two people or two things, like a pet and its owner, is a useful gauge in understanding relationships.  No less, then, is that between a leader and their nation.  Look now upon President Trump and the United States of America.

All of the aspects in the compatibility chart are within 1-degree of exactness.  There are but a few aspects.  And all but one is difficult.  Astrologers would judge this relationship a mismatch leading to divorce.  The only easy aspect is a trine between Donald Trump’s Sun and the U.S. Moon which explains the mesmerizing attraction the public (Moon) has with the man.  In spite of his lies, deceptions, misdeeds, and illegalities, much of the public loves him.  He offers a path that Americans want to walk.  His leadership is emotionally appealing in spite of his personal behaviors and corrupting influence.  The Sun/Moon trine explains why he won two unlikely elections despite damning personal and political evidence of vice.

Trump’s Moon is in opposition to the U.S. Mars and his Mars is also on the U.S. north lunar node.  This suggests that Trump admires and nurtures America’s might.  He will coax the armed forces and manufacturing industry to be strong.  Trump’s changeability and impulsiveness, however, will play havoc on the military/industrial complex.  Industrial investment takes time and corporations are sensitive to competing market influences.  Trump needs the military and law enforcement to do his bidding.  He supports them.  But at some point the military code of ethics and oath to the Constitution will conflict with the President’s emotional desires.  The manufacturing and livestock industries will also benefit from his policies but be harmed in the process.

Trump limits the media to conservative messages to the dismay of liberal mindsets.  Trump’s Saturn rests on the U.S. Mercury.  The liberal press is subdued.  Education is simplified.  Orderly, practical and conservative thought is admired and the expression of widespread and progressive views is distrusted.  Trump basically does not like or accept much of what the media dishes out.  He finds fault with ideas that don’t conform to his limited specifications.  If taken too far, this leads to coercion of the press and freedom of speech.

Although a minor aspect, Trump’s Saturn is semi-square Uranus indicating a limitation of personal freedoms and protests; radical elements within society will be quieted – costs are imposed upon dissention.  Inventiveness is stymied.  Electric automobiles also face slower growth.

Trump plays the legal system well.  He uses litigation to threaten and punish his opponents.  This is a corrupting influence that weakens the rule of law symbolized by his Neptune square the U.S. Jupiter.  Court conflicts eventually lead to a Supreme Court decision unfavorable to Trump.  Will he abide by their decision or ignore it?  Trump has been able to avoid most (Neptune) legal problems (Jupiter).  With a Republican Congress reluctant to oppose him odds are that he does not comply with a major negative decision.  He caves in if political pressure forces him to do so but by pushing the system to the limit he gauges the extent of his transgressions.

The discordant Neptune (Trump) square Jupiter (U.S.) has another serious implication.  His idealistic visions can ruin the economy.  Trump’s tariff madness can destroy American investment and wealth, lower our prestige and world power, and bring down the value of the dollar and bond market.

Trump succeeds in uniting a flame of hope in America.  His idealistic messages and fantasies (Neptune) inspire for a time but uncertainty, financial despair, mistakes and cover-ups take a toil; eventually America becomes disillusioned (Neptune square Trump’s Sun) with his presidency.
